Winter is the season where we naturally feel the urge to turn inward, to look inside, and to slow down and take care of ourselves. It’s the most “yin” of all the seasons. The winter solstice is not only the astronomical beginning of winter, it’s when the light starts to return.
Practicing within a crystal grid composed to support softening into the stillness of winter (while maintaining our inner vitality, hope and courage), we begin our immersion with a gentle flowing hatha, to invite energy to flow
through the body and to support us to feel into its aliveness.
We then move into the stillness of yin, learning about and focusing on the kidney and urinary bladder meridians.
Embodied inquiry and optional journaling will further connect us with the energy of this season; to turn our gaze inwards to see what is there; and to welcome the light both
within and without.
Kaye’s intention is that you will leave this session feeling deeply nurtured, connected to the light within. The insights and learnings from the practice will leave you ready to move into winter with a clearer gaze, a more hopeful heart, and a deeper understanding of what lights you up and how to attract more of that in your life.
